He suspects that it may have happened because of humanity’s cruelty. Yuri is a committed anarchist who supports his uncle and his leadership of a community of left-wing anarchists. However, Yuri often betrays people in pursuit of his own goals. He is generally quiet and reserved, has a strong interest in space, and, before the Apocalypse, loved anime. Yuri’s family: Before the Apocalypse, his family lived in Saint Petersburg. His father was a communist who supported the revolution in Saint Petersburg and joined the protests during the alien attack. His mother had already died before these events. His older brother was a National Bolshevik who envisioned Russia becoming a leading socialist power in the future. He died while helping other people. Yuri’s sister did not support any particular ideology and died at school. Yuri’s uncle was the leader of an anarchist organization. They did not take part in the protests, which allowed the organization to survive and eventually become one of the pillars of the new order in Saint Petersburg. Yuri’s ancestors were Italian communist partisans who fought against fascism.
