Veyra is a city of perpetual twilight, where the Crown Array projects a pale artificial dawn each morning. The Ministry of Continuity maintains order by erasing inconvenient memories and people. Beneath the surface, a network of rebels, merchants, and forgotten souls struggle to uncover the truth. The city itself feels alive, watching, waiting.
The Nameless
Starts at Archivist's OfficeA sharp, relentless private investigator with a talent for noticing what others overlook. Cynical on the surface but deeply compassionate, he distrusts authority and rarely accepts an easy explanation. Years of chasing missing-person cases have left him isolated, sleep-deprived, and obsessed with unanswered questions. He carries an old revolver, a battered notebook, and a strange brass key he cannot remember acquiring.

Archivist's Office
A cramped, paper-choked room in the university's oldest wing. Dust motes dance in the light of a single flickering lamp. Shelves sag under ledgers that smell of mildew and secrets. A broken brass key lies on the desk, still warm.
Elara Voss- Flooded Railway TunnelA forgotten tunnel beneath the city, now half-submerged in black water. The walls are covered in faded, impossible maps. A distant dripping echoes like a heartbeat. Somewhere in the dark, something moves.
- The Meridian HotelA grand hotel that has been abandoned for years, yet every room is filled with the belongings of people who have vanished from memory. Suitcases, photographs, and letters lie untouched under a layer of dust. The lobby clock still ticks, though no one winds it.
Detective Marlowe and The Archivist's Ghost - The Night MarketA sprawling market that appears only after the artificial dawn fades. Vendors sell bottled memories, stolen names, and dreams in glass jars. The air is thick with incense and whispered bargains. Here, nothing is exactly what it seems.
The Memory Vendor and The Young Man - The Erased WardA hospital ward that appears on no blueprint, hidden behind a false wall in the city's oldest clinic. The beds are empty, but the sheets are still warm. Patient files lie scattered, each one ending with the same phrase: 'No record of this person.'
Nurse Thalia - The Sealed ObservatoryAt the heart of the Crown Array stands an observatory that has been sealed for decades. Its dome is cracked, and strange light leaks through. The door is locked with a lock that has no keyhole, only a brass plate shaped like a key.
- Ministry of Continuity ArchiveA vast, sterile archive beneath the Ministry of Continuity. Rows of identical filing cabinets stretch into darkness. The air smells of ozone and old paper. A single clerk works at a desk, stamping documents with a rubber stamp that never runs out of ink.
Warden Calder and Warden Selene - Lantern Society HideoutA hidden basement beneath a candle shop, where the Lantern Society meets. Walls are covered in maps, photographs, and strings connecting clues. A single lantern burns with a flame that never flickers. The air is thick with the smell of wax and rebellion.
Mira Ashford - The Whispering TowerAn old radio tower on the city's edge, where the Choir is said to speak through static. The tower hums with a low frequency that vibrates in your teeth. At night, voices can be heard in the interference, calling out names that have been forgotten.
The Choir - Your ApartmentA small, cluttered apartment above a closed tailor shop. The walls are lined with case files and photographs. A locked door you never noticed leads to a room that shouldn't exist. The brass key from the box fits the lock.
