Seoul Back Alley
A narrow, dark alley behind a row of shops. Trash bins line the walls, and a flickering neon sign buzzes overhead. The smell of rotting food and urine hangs heavy. A rusty fire escape offers a possible escape route.
- Pyongyang CheckpointA heavily fortified military checkpoint on the outskirts of Pyongyang. Soldiers with assault rifles scan every vehicle and pedestrian. Concrete barriers and sandbags line the road. A guard tower looms overhead.
Colonel Park - Russian SafehouseA rundown apartment in a Soviet-era building. The walls are thin, and the heating barely works. A single flickering bulb lights the room. A stack of old newspapers and a half-empty bottle of vodka sit on the table.
Viktor - Seoul Train StationA bustling train station in the heart of Seoul. Crowds of commuters rush past. Announcements blare from speakers in Korean. A lone security guard watches the main entrance. There's a ticket booth and a small convenience store.
Guard Lee - DMZ ForestA dense, overgrown forest in the Demilitarized Zone. The trees are thick, and the ground is uneven. Old barbed wire fences are half-buried in the undergrowth. It's eerily quiet except for the sound of birds. A hidden path leads north.
Svetlana - Chinese Border VillageA small, dusty village near the North Korean border. Simple houses with tiled roofs. A few old trucks are parked on the main street. Locals eye strangers with suspicion. A noodle shop offers a place to hide.
Elder Zhao - Incheon PortA busy commercial port with large cargo ships. The air smells of salt and diesel. Workers move boxes with forklifts. A small fishing boat is tied to the dock, its engine humming. A possible escape route by sea.
Captain Bae - Mount KumgangA scenic mountain in North Korea, but now a dangerous territory. Steep trails and rocky outcrops. A small abandoned temple sits halfway up. The wind howls through the pines. Good place to hide or get lost.
The Hermit - Black Market BunkerA hidden underground bunker used by smugglers. Dim lights, concrete walls. Stalls sell weapons, fake documents, and information. The air is thick with smoke and tension. Everyone here has a price.
Mr. Kim and Lena - American Embassy SeoulA heavily guarded compound in Seoul. American flags fly over the building. Marines stand at the gate. Inside, diplomats work. It's a potential safe haven, but getting in won't be easy.
