Welcome to aiga_. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AI WORX LTD (“aiga_”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom, regarding your access to and use of the aiga.io website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing or using our Services, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
2. Service Overview
aiga_ provides an AI-powered interactive fiction and text adventure platform. Our Services allow users to:
- Play solo or multiplayer AI-generated text adventures
- Create and customise virtual worlds, characters, and storylines
- Generate AI-created images to accompany narratives
- Share content with other users
- Participate in community features
Our AI systems, including the game master and image generation features, use artificial intelligence to create dynamic, responsive content based on user inputs and interactions.
3. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from our Services
- Not be prohibited from using our Services under applicable laws
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Account Registration and Security

5. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
Our Services utilise artificial intelligence to generate content, including text narratives, images, and game elements (“AI-Generated Content”). You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI technology is experimental and rapidly evolving
- AI-Generated Content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected outputs
- AI-Generated Content does not represent the views or opinions of aiga_
- AI-Generated Content should not be relied upon for factual accuracy
- We cannot guarantee that AI-Generated Content will be free from offensive or inappropriate material, despite our content moderation efforts
You use AI-Generated Content at your own risk. We are not liable for any AI-Generated Content or any decisions made based on such content.
6. No Professional Advice
Our Services are provided for entertainment purposes only. AI-Generated Content and any other content on our platform should not be used or relied upon as:
- Medical, health, or mental health advice
- Legal advice
- Financial or investment advice
- Professional advice of any kind

7. User Content
7.1 Your Content
You may create, upload, or input content through our Services, including text inputs, custom worlds, characters, images, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your original User Content.
7.2 Licence Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant aiga_ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and providing our Services. This licence continues even if you stop using our Services, but only for content that has been shared publicly or with other users.
7.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
- Your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Create, share, or distribute content depicting minors in sexual or harmful situations
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Promote violence, hatred, or discrimination

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services

9. Payment Terms
9.1 Fees and Pricing
Certain features of our Services require payment. All prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include VAT where required. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with reasonable notice for subscription services.
9.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
9.3 Subscriptions
Subscription services automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9.4 Refunds
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. For subscription services, you may be entitled to a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not substantially used the service, in accordance with UK consumer protection laws. Credit purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used.
10. Virtual Credits
Our Services may include virtual credits (“Credits”) that can be used to access certain features. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Credits are licensed, not sold, and you do not own Credits
- Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- We may modify Credit pricing, earning mechanisms, or redemption rates at any time
- Unused Credits may expire if your account is inactive for an extended period
- Credits are forfeited if your account is terminated for violation of these Terms
11. Intellectual Property
Our Services, including all content, features, functionality, software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by aiga_ or our licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our express written permission.
12. Third-Party Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and conditions.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, our Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty implied by law that it would be unlawful to exclude or limit under UK consumer protection legislation.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless aiga_, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of our Services
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third party's rights
16. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions in your account settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use our Services will immediately cease
- Any unused Credits will be forfeited
- We may delete your account and User Content
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence and benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your local law.
For EU consumers, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms
- Notify you through our Services or by email
- Give you reasonable notice before changes take effect
Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using our Services.
19. General Provisions
19.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and aiga_ regarding your use of our Services.
19.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
19.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
19.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights, except as expressly provided.
